About

This place is mainly used to gather my work as a freelance journalist, since stories end up far and wide in many publications. You may know of some: The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age and the Financial Review, for example.

I’ve been a newspaper and online journalist more than 10 years (ouch!), specialising in technology and the Internet, but also writing about science, health, business, travel, filmmaking and covering general news.

Lately I’ve also been building a new online news service. Shhh!. I’ll tell you more about that when I can.

In the meantime, you’ll also see more posts about docos and filmmaking as friends and I prepare to jump in the deep end… again.

In case you are wondering: I live in Sydney with my husband Michael and our slightly neurotic cat.

Cheers & thanks for visiting,
Nicole

P.S. I usually avoid posting pictures of myself, but here’s a rather glam shot taken by my good buddy Tony Wilson from The CameraClass.

For something a little bizarre, however, there’s also this (no doubt a prank, but no one has owned up yet)!
